At Danielle Perry Miniatures, we've done our best to create a web site that

anticipates and satifies our customers needs. With that goal in mind, we've

compiled a list of frequently asked questions. If you do not find an answer to

Ordering

When you choose items in our web site catalog, they are automatically added to your shopping cart. When you check out, the program will automatically calculate your purchases. Shipping charges are not added until you input your address. This is because we ship all over the world and charges will be different depending on where you live. When you click "place order" the program will calculate shipping and any taxes, if applicable. The charges for your purchase will not be applied until you chose method of payment and click "place order " (a second time). You have the choice of stopping the order at any point until the final step simply by closing the window before placing your final order or clicking the "return to shopping cart" button. You can view or change your order at any time prior to the final step by clicking "Your Shopping Cart" at the top of the page.

Scales

We carry 1:12 ; 1:24 ; 1:48 ; and 1:144 scales on our website. All items are 1:12 scale unless stated otherwise. Smaller scale items are on our Smaller Scales pages unless stated that an item comes in various scales.

Measurements

All dimensions and measurements are in inches or portions thereof.

Shipping Costs

We ship by Canada Post Expediated Mail. A tracking number will be emailed to you when your package has been sent. Heavy items such as dollhouses may be drop shipped from the manufacturer to save you shipping costs. Manufacturers ship by various methods which we have no control over.

The full retail value of your purchase (what you paid) will be shown on the customs declaration. Your invoice/receipt will be included in the box. If it is not included, the package may be returned to us by Customs. US & International orders may also be subjected to additional costs such as import and/or duty taxes or a customs handling fee by their government customs. This may also apply to dollhouses drop shipped from the US to Canada and other countries.  While we understand that these customs charges may increase the cost of your purchase, we have no choice but to obey the import/export laws of Canada. The amounts paid in customs charges are far less than the fines involved for both us and you if these rules are not stictly adhered to. We thank you for your understanding.

If you have a POBox address, please include your house address and phone number as well in the note section of your order.

Our shipping costs are based the the total price of your order and are automated. In most cases this works out to be accurate. If it turns out that you have ordered items that can be shipped inexpensively (eg: one Ann Vanture kit may shipped in an envelope.) You can contact us regarding the excess shipping cost prior to ordering. We will prepare a new invoice for you reflecting the true shipping cost. Please do not let shipping costs dictate whether you buy or not. If it doesn't seem right, ASK US ABOUT IT. We will be happy to adjust it to true cost.

Out of stock

In these difficult economic times, we find that many of our suppliers do not stock items in the quantities that they used to. We try to stay on top of their temperarily out of stock items by taking them off line at our website. Although we do our best to keep up with the changing stock status, we sometimes are not told an item is OOS until after our customer orders it. If this should happen, we try to offer the customer other alternatives which are available. If this is unsatisfactory, we will refund the purchase price of the item.

If I can't find what I'm looking for, can you help me find it?

At Danielle Perry Miniatures we strive to help customers find those items they

need to complete their collections. If you are looking for something that is not available through our regular catalog, email us and we will try to source it for you.

Sales

What if the item I bought isn't what I thought it would be once it arrives?

Our goal is to have satified customers. We know it is difficult to buy from a

picture. If the item is not what you anticipated simply return it  to us with a full description of what you are looking for and we will credit your previous purchase

to the new one. If you prefer, call us and we can discuss your needs.

What if it arrives broken?

We do our best to ensure your package arrives safely. If you do have a problem

with breakage, just call us. We will replace it.

Support

What if I just can't put it together right?

We do our best to assist our customers in the assembling of kits, etc. If you are

stuck for an idea call us and we will be happy to assist you.

Billing

How do I pay for my purchases?

We use the PAYPAL system of payment which allows you to use major

credit cards or your bank account. PAYPAL is an established and secure way to pay for both domestic and world-wide sales. They do all the currency conversions for you. We as a merchant, NEVER see your financial information so this is a safe and confidential way to purchase over the internet. At present there is no charge for setting up an account with PAYPAL.

We also accept Money Orders.  Money orders should be made out to DANIELLE PERRY MINIATURES.

As soon as we receive notification of payment through PAYPAL, or receive your money order, we ship your order. It's that simple.
